I have always had a love for baking and making desserts for my family, friends and co-workers. I became known for my moist and not so sweet cupcakes and my delicious banana pudding. Once I retired, I took some on-line cookie classes and began to make decorated sugar cookies.  Several people suggested that I start my own bakery and so I created Mama Jean Sweets, LLC in 2021. This is a home based business that specializes in yummy cakes, cupcakes, cookies, banana pudding, pretzel sticks, Oreo balls, and chocolate covered strawberries. I will admit that I am not a great decorator because I do not like real sweet frosting. So if you're looking for cakes made with fondant and lots of elaborate decorations, I recommend you look elsewhere.
